Poor Credit But Need A Mortgage?

At Vincent & Co we have a wide range of trusted contacts we can call upon to help you with all sorts of money-related issues you may have.

One of the biggest investments many of us is likely to make is a mortgage – but what happens if you have poor credit and perhaps a minimal income history too?

We have access to a mortgage lender, Kensington Mortgages, who could help.

The key points of the service they provide are:

  • Maximum 85% loan on the value of the residential property, or for a re-mortgage.
  • Maximum of 80% loan on the value of a buy-to-let property.
  • You need to have an income of at least £18,000 per annum, or £25,000 joint income. This must be proved through three payslips and P60s or one year’s accounts.
  • Kensington Mortgages carry out a credit search and not credit scoring. All defaults and CCJs are ignored if they were first registered over two years ago, irrespective of the number of if they have been finalised.

So if you feel you’re stuck with a high interest rate or cannot move home because of what’s available through the usual brokers, speak to us and we’ll see what we can do for you.

We know all the best people!
